《Humanchanical》一詞為混成詞，由 Human 與 Mechanical 組成，作品探討機械作為人體肉體的延伸其與人類之間的關係，藝術家與表演者合作，利用虛擬3D技術，製作出工業用的機械手臂，將舞者的動作與其結合，將現實與虛擬串連。機械以生物作為參照對象，在設計上無處不見人類的自我投射。馬達提供動力驅動著電機運作，在一連串的指令下精準的運動，精密的機械手臂，依靠著電子感應器探測著空間，如同被禁錮的生物一般，在細微的操控下舞動身軀。作品中，表演者的面部被紗布包裹，奪去了感官，在黑暗中僅能依靠著記憶與微弱的感官，使用身體作為度量標準，透過每一次的運動，不斷測量著自身在現實中的定位。並將展現出作品的核心 ── 人的自我定位。

"Humanchanical" is a portmanteau composed of human and mechanical. The film probes into the relationship between humans and machines that serves as an extension to the human body. Using 3D technology to create industrial robotic arms and synchronizing it with the dancer's movements creates a connection between what is real and virtual. Machines are referenced from organisms, resemblances to human movements can be easily seen. The motor provides energy for the machine to function, and it moves under series of precise commands. A precise robotic arm uses electronic sensors to navigate the space around it, like a caged creature, moving its body in subtlety.

In the film, the performer's face was masked and robbed of senses. In the darkness, the performer could only rely on memory and feeble senses; using their own body as a measurement to slowly navigate themselves through every careful movement. Therefore, reflecting the soul of this film, self-identity.
